Dr. Nick Muir

About Dr. Nick Muir

As the son of a horse trainer, Nick grew up with constant exposure to horses. From a young age, his mother got him involved in several Washington reining horse associations where he quickly developed a passion for riding, training, and working with horses. Nick attended Washington State University for undergrad where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Animal Science. He continued at WSU for vet school where he focused heavily on equine medicine and was president of the university’s Student Chapter of the American Association of Equine Practitioners. He then completed a rotating internship at San Luis Rey Equine Hospital in Bonsall, CA and has returned to the Northwest to serve our horse population.

When not at work, Nick enjoys training his personal reining horses, woodworking, hiking, and biking.
